Summary

Pimento Cheese, is a cheese spread that’s usually made with extra-sharp cheddar, mayonnaise and chopped pimentos or roasted red peppers, along with this we have added two different cheddar cheese to give extra punch.

Ingredients

  • Neufchatel cheese or any french cheese,  room temperature    :- 85 grams
  • Extra-sharp cheddar cheese white, grated    :-1 cup / 120 grams
  • Extra-sharp cheddar cheese orange, grated    :-1 cup / 120 grams
  • Mayonnaise    :- 1/2 cup / 120 grams
  • Dash garlic powder
  • Dash cayenne
  • Roasted Red bell pepper, chopped or Pimento    :- 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper, Freshly ground    :-  to taste

Preparation

  1. Using a stand or hand mixer, beat the Neufchatel cheese until smooth. Add other cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder and cayenne.
  2. Add in the roasted bell peppers, season with freshly ground black pepper.
  3. For best flavor, let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  4. Spread the Pimento Cheese on the sandwich and serve

Not : This Pimento cheese can be used as a spreading or accompaniment.
