Summary

Easily made and Digestive with lots of Natural Fruits and Syrup. One serving will have you well on your way to meeting your recommended intake of fiber for the day.

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour    :- 60 grams / 4 tablespoons
  • Baking powder    :- 5 grams / 1 teaspoon
  • Egg    :- 1
  • Sugar free    :- 8 grams
  • Water    :- 1 cup / 220 ml
  • Oil for frying

Garnish

  • Cherries

Accompaniments

  • Syrup of own choice

Preparation

  1. Sieve and mix flour and baking powder well in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl add the egg and milk and beat them to from a mixture.
  3. Now combine the flour mixture to liquid and fold to remove any lumps
  4. Heat oil in heavy bottom pan on high flame and pour in batter, swirling to cover pan in a thin layer of pancake, reduce heat slightly and when browned flip to other side and let it brown there also.
  5. Transfer to serving dish, garnish with cherries and accompany with choice of your own syrup and serve.
